SME Boardroom was established for the purpose of giving SMEs a united voice in Australia and making a real difference to SME owners and their businesses.
It is pro-active, positive, and solutions-focused.
SME Boardroom is privately funded by Kim Mei-Li Dennis who saw a need for SMEs to be clearly heard and represented to government and the business community on the real “grassroots” issues affecting them and their businesses. Through this mechanism, SME Boardroom has also provided members with advice and education on how to resolve issues in a practical hands on way.
Chair
SME Boardroom is chaired by Kim Mei-Li Dennis (nee Tunbridge), the former chair of the Small Business Council of Australia, a practising business lawyer and SME owner. Kim’s role is to oversee all aspects of SME Boardroom and to lead SME Boardroom in fulfilling its purpose.
