How It Works

Strategy

SME Boardroom’s strategy is to build a large and powerful membership base so that government and the wider business community are compelled to take action to help SME owners and their businesses.

If SME owners work together as a whole and communicate their issues through SME Boardroom, government and the wider business community will be more accurately informed about what the real issues are for SMEs and how they can properly address these issues.

Government will be able to make changes to policy and legislation which have a genuine impact on SME owners and their businesses.

The business community will be able to provide products and services which genuinely fulfil the needs of SMEs.

Process

    • SME Member Surveys. SME Members participate in SME Member Surveys about SME issues. These take 3-5 minutes to complete.
    • White Papers. The survey results are compiled into White Papers and distributed to government, the media and the wider business community.
    • Publicity. Publicity is generated to ensure the issues and recommendations are publicly heard and debated and pressure is put on the government and wider business community to take action.
    • Newsletter. An entertaining, informative and useful newsletter will be distributed containing business advice, case studies, profiles and other practical information.
