Membership

Members are part of a powerful, pro-active and solutions-focused community who work together to achieve "meaningful" results for small to medium sized enterprises in Australia.

What does being a Member involve?

As a Member you will be able to actively participate in our Program. Our program gives SMEs, Australia’s most successful business leaders, large corporate, government and political leaders the opportunity to collaborate and achieve some real results for SMEs.

Members who are SME owners are required to provide their honest views on key SME issues by completing 3 Member Surveys during the membership year (taking no more than 5 minutes to complete). These surveys are compiled into White Papers and distributed to government and the media in order to influence government policy with respect to SME issues. These Members receive free or discounted membership.

Members who are not SME owners are not required to complete any SME Member Surveys.

All Members receive access to some or all of the information in these White Papers.

How does Membership work?

Once you become a Member, you will immediately be eligible to participate in any upcoming Membership activities and to obtain the Member Inclusions and any upcoming Member Discounts, Offers and Exclusive Invitations. Your membership will run from 1 July to 30 June of the relevant financial year.

If you are a SME owner, you will be able to participate in any upcoming Member Surveys.

If you have registered to become an Executive Member, you will receive a Member Registration Pack containing special gifts and information about the Member discounts, special offers and exclusive invitations available to you.

Eligibility

Any individual can become a Member of SME Boardroom. There are limitations as to the type of membership you can hold based on whether you are a SME owner.

A SME is a sole trader, partnership or company with 1 to 200 staff and an Australian Business Number.
